At AGRA 2025 in Plovdiv, the world leader in the tractor industry, Solis, presented its latest innovations and technological solutions, created with the modern farmer in mind. The company, part of ITL (International Tractors Limited), is among the largest tractor manufacturers in the world, with a presence in over 150 countries.

“I still remember the moment when we started supplying tractors to Europe. We started small, and today we are leaders in our market segment,” says Ashish Sharma, General Manager of Solis.

With over 150,000 tractors sold in Europe, the company has not only established itself as a leader, but also continues to expand its market share even in times of economic uncertainty.

“We have sold over 150,000 tractors in Europe so far and are the market leader in Europe. We are proud to say that we supply tractors to over 150 countries worldwide, including Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Oceania,” added Ashish Sharma.

Technology with the farmer in mind

Solis has been on the market in Bulgaria for only three years, and during this period it has supplied over 1,000 tractors to Bulgarian farmers.

“I am proud to say that in the last three years we have delivered over 1000 tractors to Bulgaria. It is an honor for us to contribute to the mechanization of Bulgarian agriculture.

We are providing and implementing new technologies and also plan to introduce advanced models – including narrow-series tractors and electric tractors, which will reduce fuel consumption and help Bulgarian farmers increase their yields. It is an honor for me to work in a country like Bulgaria and I feel extremely proud to be part of this partnership,” Sharma announced.

Solis tractors are manufactured in India and designed with Japanese quality. They offer durability, efficiency and affordability – three key features that make the brand preferred among farmers.

Despite the challenges faced by the agricultural sector in Europe, Solis not only maintains stable prices but also continues to develop innovations to meet the needs of farmers.

“While the European market is down by around 30%, our sales are growing by over 20% every year. This is a result of the trust of farmers who rely on us and the technologies that help them be more successful,” the expert added.

New models that will change the future

At AGRA 2025, Solis announced that it will present new tractor models, including: A narrow-profile series – for orchards and vineyards, as well as electric tractors – with a low-cost and environmentally friendly approach.

“Our goal is not just to sell machines, but to be a partner to farmers, offering them affordable and effective solutions to improve yields.

Nowadays, we are seeing prices rising due to global economic uncertainty. However, I can assure farmers that as a company, our philosophy is not to increase prices, but to keep them competitive so that Bulgarian farmers can afford our machines,” concluded Ashish Sharma.

Solis continues its mission to be there for farmers, offering tractors designed with tomorrow in mind.
